Green Jobs for the Finger Lakes
Event
On Tuesday, May 6, 2008 Dovetail Builders co-founder
Julie Kitson and other leaders from local trades addressed
community members on trends in the green job market.
This event, put on by Sustainable Tompkins, brought
together professionals from the building trades to
realtors to the energy efficiency and renewable energy
sectors, to Cornell’s City and Regional Planning
Department to present and discuss trends in sustainability,
how they relate to the local job market and what policy
makers can do to promote “green” job opportunities.

Log home Phase II is under way.
After a highly sucessfull addition to a 1980's log
house in Berkshire, NY Dovetail Builders was asked
back to design and build a second addition. Phase
II aims to further expand the owners living space
while increasing the energy efficiency of the home.
